The Long shot band consist of a group of musicians that combined have over 100
Years of musical experience. Founding members, Mike and Joe Evans have played music together all of their lives, and have opened shows for such artists as George Jones, The Kinleys, The Lynn’s (Loretta Lynn's Daughters), Ricochet, Patty Loveless, Brad Paisley, John Berry, and Paul Brandt to name a few. They have played a number of Festivals, concert halls and Arenas. They have recorded several CD’s. Mike won the VCMA "Male Vocalist of the Year" for the year 1996. Band members Deno Sebastian, Dexter Wood, Robbie Hammond and Mike Browning have played music with Mike and Joe for over 15 years. Deno received a nomination for “Instrumentalist of the Year “in 1996 from the VCMA. Mike and Dino's band Southern Country received six nominations and won in two categories....
